Dr. Marie-Claire Seeley
CEO and founder of the Australian POTS Foundation
Marie-Claire (RN, PhD) is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Adelaide. With a perspective as a researcher with ‘lived experience,’ she has dedicated her research efforts to exploring postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Marie-Claire established the only Australian patient registry for POTS and her research work has elucidated the prevalence of autonomic nervous system disorders in post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC). Dr. Celine Gallagher
Scientific Chair, Australian POTS Foundation
Celine is a Postdoctoral Fellow as part of the team at the Australian Dysautonomia and Arrhythmia Research Collaborative, exploring ways in which outcomes can be improved in dysautonomias, with a particular focus on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and arrhythmias. Celine has extensive clinical and research experience as a specialist nurse with a particular interest in improving outcomes in chronic conditions. More

Prof. Dennis Lau
Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Autonomic/POTS/Long Covid Specialist
Dennis is an academic cardiac electrophysiologist at The Royal Adelaide Hospital and Clinical Professor at The University of Adelaide. His research is focused on dysautonomia/ postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, atrial fibrillation, risk factor management and cardiac implantable electronic devices. More

Dr. Peter Del Fante
General Practitioner
Peter is a part-time general practitioner in private practice in Adelaide and public health physician. Since 1992, he has had a particular interest in translating ME/CFS research findings into best practice medical care for many of his patients with ME/CFS and POTS. More
